Transportation cost in Auckland is not low, if to travel by buying tickets for each route.
So it is advisable to buy at least a one-day pass. Particularly for one who is not familiar with the city, with a one-day pass, we can travel with all buses; most of the ferry and all the trains.
As long as you can travel once you buy the ticket till midnight of the day.
If you can travel far and long, it is value for money :) It is just NZ$18 a day !
I took advantage of the one-day pass. Hopped on and off the bus whenever I saw architecture I admired and appreciated.
