In search of our brunch :)
Treasure a historical building |
preserve and make it alive |
A busy daily market |
We did not intend to cook for our brunch, so we started strolling stalls of dried food and fruit stalls.
Ready-to-drink juice |
Olive Oil, not cheap, even sold at the market ! |
Dried groceries, good presentation, tidy and well organized ! |
Buy a drink, it's just so casual, at the market stall |
outside the market at the street side nothing short of a drink and simple food |
The outlook of the market and it's architecture style is impressive |
After strolling the market, we still opted to buy ready-to-eat at a small shop opposite the market building.
Yummy |
Bus stop and kiosk |
Once upon a time, Malaga was an outpost guarding Spain coastal line.
At the hilltop is the castle, Gibralfaro.
Flying flags were first to catch the eyes everywhere you visited a castle |
overlooking the sea, guarding the coast |
Back to the city.....
A tunnel under a university showing the ruins of the old city, where it once was . This is preservation ! |
Malaga was once under the reign of the Roman empire, so there is a semi-theatre as one sees at Rome, of course of a much much smaller scale :)
Time to look for a restaurant for a farewell dinner.
As we were going to say good-bye to our trip of southern Spain (departing Malaga at midnight, we enjoyed a decent restaurant early evening :)
